Well, it is the time of year most of us make new year resolutions…as if the stress and anxiety of buying and wrapping the perfect gift for loved ones weren’t enough to drive us to drink! We quickly add more stress and anxiety to our plate by making resolutions to help us achieve a slimmer, more active, kinder, richer, fill-in-the-blank life – ugh! I am stressed just writing all of that!

To quote an old, but familiar song, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”. And for a lot of us, this is true for many reasons: Time spent with family and friends; taking in all the winter decorations, lights and festivities; shopping for others; planning and going on road trips…the list goes on! For some of us, the opportunity to volunteer and help others is also what makes it the most wonderful time of the year.
